very pleasant little find. light on the armour, from what i saw, but good collection of aircraft, all in a good state. wwi up to the present, or at least the cold ward.

vyskov airbase museum

Vyskov airbase museum. I had driven past it, just off the d1 about 20-30 minutes east of brno. lot of the stuff is in a state of disrepair, but a good collection of migs, a few hips, a frogfoot, and some other stuff including apcs, field guns, etc. nice little collection of information on czech pilots from the war (i think in the raf, and they probably would have socialized in the czechoslovak pub in west hampstead...!) and many aircraft models of all nations and stripes.worth a good hour or so for a visit, maybe 2. you'd have to be a real nut to get more out of it but i could see there being potential if you wanted a more detailed inspection -
